The Seattle Farmers Market Association (SFMA) acknowledges that we occupy the unceded and traditional territories of the Coast Salish Peoples, specifically the Duwamish. This acknowledgement does not take the place of an authentic relationship with the indigenous communities but serves as a first step in honoring the land we occupy and resisting the erasure of Indigenous past, present and future. We stand for land equity, revitalizing food traditions, food sovereignty and food access for all.
